What is Skyward? If you want to focus on the products we create, you could define us as an administrative software company. Then again, that label doesn't feel like it does enough justice to the lives we touch both throughout our communitee and around the world. You might say we're an education company. As of 2016 we are working with more than 1,900 school districts serving over 6 million students in more than 20 States and 10 countries. For 35 + years we have helped school district leaders drive a culture of innovation and productivity. We've helped teachers be more responsive to their students and create stronger communication bonds with parents. And we have helped those same students take control of their education in ways never before imaginable. But even the education label is no longer enough to accurately describe what we do. In recent years we have extended our product and service offerings to the municipality market bringing higher levels of efficiency to local and county government operations. The concept of our technology is simple. Whether it takes the form of an online gradebook for teachers or an applicant tracking and hiring system for HR teams, it's all about making day to day administrative tasks easier. There's almost no part of a school district or business office that is not touched in one way or another by Skyward. If there's one thing more important than the what, it's the who.  The Skyward family includes more than 500 diverse, dedicated, and driven individuals working out of several office locations throughout the country. The majority of our workforce is located right here in central Wisconsin at our new world headquarters. No matter where I work takes us or what role we play in the big picture, we are all honored to be a part of something special.
