Reaching Teens Before Drugs Do

On Wednesday, April 11th the district will be hosting “Reaching Teens Before Drugs Do” in partnership with LTM Foundations (a company that promotes the prevention of teen drug use) and States Attorney Eric Morrow and Attorney/BHS Graduate, Russ Crull we encourage all parents to attend. The event starts at 6:30pm and will be held in the BHS Main Gym.

The emergency day that was observed on Friday, February 9, 2018, will be made up on Friday, May 25, 2018.  

The Teacher Institute day that was cancelled on February 9th has been rescheduled for Friday, March 16, 2018.

There WILL NOT BE student attendance on Friday, March 16, 2018. There WILL BE student attendance on Friday, May 25, 2018.

After-School Cancellations

Due to the inclement weather, all after-school programs and activities for today, April 18, 2018, will be cancelled. The Byron Park District Tiger Den Program will run as normal, and we will remain in session for the full academic school day.

Over the last several weeks, the consultants from School Exec Connect hosted seven Focus Groups consisting of staff members, community members, business leaders, and administrators who are all part of the Byron Dist. 226 school community.
