As a valued member of our local business community, you know better than anyone what it takes to succeed in the professional world. We would love for you to share that expertise with our students!
The 5th Grade Team at Mary Morgan Elementary is officially beginning the planning for our Annual 5th Grade Career Fair, and we are inviting local businesses and professionals to help spark curiosity in our future middle schoolers.
This event gives students a firsthand look at the diverse career paths available right here in our community. We would be honored to have your business represented.
Event Details:
· Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026
· Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
· Location: Byron High School Gymnasium
How It Works: During the fair, volunteers speak with small groups of students about their profession. Students rotate through five different presentations, allowing them to explore a variety of paths in a short amount of time.
What to Share:
· A typical workday and your daily routine.
· The skills or education required for your field.
· What you enjoy most about your work.
· Pro-Tip: Hands-on items, visuals, uniforms, tools, or short demonstrations are highly encouraged! They make the experience much more engaging and memorable for the students.
How to Join Us: Your participation helps broaden our students' horizons and shows them the many possibilities their futures hold. If you or a staff member are interested in joining us, please let us know by Thursday, April 16th via the link below:
