Byron Choirs have the wonderful opportunity to tour Ireland this June.  While in Ireland they will be touring Galway, Killarney, Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Tipperary, and Dublin.  Many cultural activities are planned for the group, but most importantly they will be performing 3 concerts.  One at the Gothic Church on the grounds of Kylemore Abbey, one at St. Mary’s Church in Killarney, and the final performance will be a joint concert with a youth choir in Dublin. The choirs will be hosting 2 benefit concerts to help raise money for the trip expenses but also to share selections of music they will be performing while in Ireland.  The first concert will be held on Saturday, February 24, 4:00, at All Saints Lutheran Church, 624 Luther Drive, Byron and the second concert will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 7:00, at United Methodist Church, 200 S 4th Street in Oregon.  The public is welcome to attend so the choir can provide their music and thank everyone for the continued support of the Byron High School Choirs.  Any questions can be directed to the choir director, Amy Harn, at [email protected].
