It will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Byron High School Track, visitors side.
All students please walk through the office to look at lunch boxes and water bottles that have been turned in as “lost”. We are trying to get them to their rightful owners!
8th Grade Students who signed up for choir next year - Auditions are being held for those interested in Treble Choir. Auditions run through TODAY, Thursday, March 26th before and after school. For more information and to sign up for a time, please email Mr. Jaworowski.
STEM Club will meet TODAY, Thursday this week. We will be working with the new 3D printers and making a game plan for the rest of the year. If interested, please report to room 700/702 by 3:00 p.m. each day, unless you are working with a teacher, then 3:20. The meeting will last until 4:00. Email Mr. Kirk with questions/concerns.
Student Council is hosting a "Pie A Teacher" fundraiser to benefit Rockford Rescue Mission. Jars will be set up through FRIDAY, March 27th outside of the gym each morning. The teacher who receives the most money in their jar will be selected to be PIED at the spirit assembly that day. Help us raise money for a great cause & pie some staff members!
Coach Boyer is having a Boys Baseball Byron Tiger Youth Baseball Camp on Monday, March 30th and Tuesday, March 31st from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Cost is $30.00 and includes a camp t-shirt. Checks must be payable to BYRON HIGH SCHOOL. Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 18th. Forms were sent home with students, but there are additional ones in the office, if needed.
Young American Poetry Digest’s 2026 competition has begun! Here is your chance to become a published poet! All forms of poetry are accepted, but they highlight “haiku” poetry. A panel of educators will select poems to be published in the 32nd edition of Young American Poetry Digest and a free copy of this book will be mailed to our BMS library. Submit your handwritten or typed (you may also email mrieck@byron226.org) poetry to Miss Rieck by April 6th. If you have any questions stop in the library during your flex time.
