What is SchoolDude?
SchoolDude is an online work order management system. This online program is for submitting and checking the status of a work order for maintenance and technology work throughout the district.
Byron schools use the SchoolDude solutions described here. Use these services to submit a work order that suits your needs.
MaintenanceDirect: the SchoolDude solution used by the maintenance and custodial departments to manage maintenance work orders. This is a cloud-based collaborative facilities management solution that simplifies the work order and preventive maintenance process.

Incident: the SchoolDude solution used by the technology department. This is a cloud-based technology management solution that directs issues through to the appropriate level 1 and level 2 help desk personnel.

How do I access SchoolDude?
All employees are registered with the program upon hire. If you find you cannot access the web site, please contact the IT Administrative Assistant. Staff login with their email. When an account is first created, an email is sent to the employee directing them to set their password. If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password? link on the login page.
The URL for the login page is There is a link under the Staff tab of the district web site homepage but it might be easier to bookmark/favorite.

How do I put in a maintenance work order or IT request?
All work orders and requests should go through SchoolDude. Check out the guides below for how to properly use the ticket system.
