ISTE Standards

The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is a nonprofit organization that works with educators across the world in the use of technology to transform teaching and learning and to promote innovation in the classroom. The ISTE Standards are a framework for students and educators to use to accomplish these goals.

Re-engineer your classroom for digital age learning

"Transforming education requires rethinking how we teach and learn. The ISTE Standards are a road map for bold, innovative educators and education leaders to re-engineer their schools and classrooms for digital age learning.

These standards are not about using digital tools to support outdated education strategies and models. They're about tapping into technology's potential to amplify human capacity for collaboration, creativity and communication.

No matter where you are on the road to effective edtech integration, the ISTE Standards will help you create meaningful digital age learning experiences and innovative learning environments" (ISTE Resources email, October 2017).
