Dear Byron CUSD Parents/Guardians:

On April 25, the Byron Board of Education adopted increased school fees for the 2019-2020 school year.  These increases finish off the Board of Education’s four-year graduated fee schedule, initially adopted in the spring of 2016.  This multi-year plan was generated after a lengthy review of surrounding school districts.    

Document one shows the fee analysis done on those districts in the fall of 2015.  These numbers reflect the cost of registration/fees in those districts during the 2015-2016 school year.  This fee analysis served as the guidepost for the creation of the second attached document, the Byron registration/fee schedule for years 2017-2020.   There are currently no plans for fee increases after the 2019-2020 school year.
